Basic Information
- The Novacura Marketplace is an App store that helps our customers get more value from their Novacura Flow purchase by providing immediate access to some of our most requested Applications. The ready-to-use Applications (or Application fragments called “Components”) can be downloaded directly from the Novacura Marketplace, imported into your Novacura Flow Studio environment, and then customized as needed. Speeding up solution-to-delivery time and providing innovative ideas and insights from Applications developed by Novacura, as well as partners and customers.
- The Marketplace consists of two types of products:
- Applications are prepackaged bits of software that are developed to perform a specific function within a business area. Applications are ready-to-use upon delivery and are often made up of many Components that provide a complete business process for the defined business area.

- For example, our Travel and Expense Application is an Application that streamlines the entire business expense reporting process and provides all the necessary Components to integrate into IFS. This application can be used as-is as soon and it is imported into your environment and connected to your instance of IFS.
- Components are smaller fragments of an Application that perform a singular task and can be used as building blocks to speed up development. Components are often used as a tutorial that guides users on how to accomplish a certain step and provides innovative ideas and concepts that help with the development of Applications.

- For example, a Component would only provide the steps necessary to read one type of information from an ERP system.
- Both Applications and Components are developed using the Novacura Flow platform and can be used to accelerate the deployment and development of customer-specific Applications.
- All the Applications and Components available for download will be listed on the Novacura Marketplace. You can search for Applications by key terms or filter by industry segment to narrow down your search results further. To search by key terms, use the search engine at the top left-hand side of the Marketplace. To filter by industry segment, click on the drop-down menu of the Apps By Segment button and select the industry segment you are interested in. Conversely, if you select to view All Apps from the dropdown you will have the ability to filter by Segment, Industry, ERP, Publisher and Pricing.
- If you can’t find an Application that suits your needs, please share your idea for an Application to be developed on the Marketplace Idea Wall. The ideas provided here will have the opportunity to be voted on and Applications with the highest vote counts will be added into the development cycle for review and prioritization by Novacura Labs.

- As new versions of Novacura Flow and the connected ERP systems are released, Novacura Labs will make every effort to update the Applications and Components under the Marketplace subscription with the new APIs. While updates are not guaranteed, Novacura Labs will make every effort to develop new Applications and provide updates on the Marketplace as defined in the standard product roadmap.
- A Publisher is the author of an Application or Component.
- Novacura Labs is a separate division in Novacura responsible for the Novacura Marketplace and the development of the official Applications and Components published on the Marketplace by subscription.
- The answers provided within the FAQ are for informational purposes only and specific details are outlined in the Marketplace Terms & Conditions that are agreed to before setting up an account.
- Pricing & Licenses

Those with an active Marketplace account will have access to the following types of Applications and Components:
- Free All active Marketplace customers will be able to access and download any Applications and Components marked as free.
- Subscription-based Applications and Components built by Novacura can be purchased through a Marketplace subscription. Once subscribed, customers will have the ability to download all the Applications and Components in the subscription library.
- Paid Certain Applications and Components will only be available for purchase separately and will not be included as part of the subscription. The price, along with the terms and conditions will be defined by the Publisher of the Application.

To determine whether an Application or Component is free, subscription-based or Paid, click on the Details tab and reference the pricing type.
- The subscriptions to the Marketplace are company-based and will be connected to each customer’s individual Novacura Flow license. The Applications and Components can only be used by the same company that is licensed for the Novacura Flow platform. Once a Marketplace agreement is in place, the company can provide Novacura with the individual users that need to be set up with an account on the Marketplace.

- No, you can leverage the Novacura Flow users you already have licensed. There are not any limitations outside of what is defined by the Novacura Flow Platform license terms and conditions. However, if the Applications provide additional functionality that expands into other departments that were not previously Novacura Flow users, you may need additional user licenses.

- No, there are not any limitations on how many Applications and Components you download. If you are a Marketplace user with an active subscription, you can download as many Applications and Components, as many times as you would like.
- A trial of the Applications is not currently available. However, if you would like a demo for any of the Applications or Components listed on the Marketplace, please contact your Novacura sales representative to schedule. If you do not know who your Novacura sales representative is, please contact us
- Customers on a subscription-based license will be billed annually by invoice.

Customers who purchased an Application with the payment type Paid, will need to arrange payment options as defined by the Publisher of the Application.
- If a customer decides to cancel their Marketplace subscription, they will lose access to the Applications and Components on the marketplace. However, if the customer was an active subscriber for at least 36 months, all Applications downloaded and subscribed under the term can be retained in the customer’s Novacura Flow Environment. If the subscription was active for less than 36 months, the customer will be required to delete any Applications and Components downloaded, as well as any configuration changes made. No refunds will be provided for the subscription term paid.

- Getting Started
- If you are interested in joining the Marketplace to access any of the Applications and Components, please contact your Novacura Sales Representative. If you do not know who your Novacura sales representative is, please

- Your organization must agree to the Marketplace terms and conditions and sign any applicable sales orders to gain access to the site. Once the agreements are signed, you can provide a select number of users along with their names and email addresses to set up the accounts. Each user will be sent a Microsoft invitation on behalf of Novacura, and once accepted they will be able to log into the Marketplace.
- In the future, when Novacura Hub is live, customers will be able to manage access to the Marketplace themselves.
- Access to the Marketplace is handled through Microsoft Active Directory. Therefore, password management is handled through Active Directory. To reset your password, follow the steps set by your organization on password resets.
- Anyone will be able to view the Applications available through the marketplace but only Novacura Flow customers with an active Marketplace account will have the ability to download the Applications and Components. Those with an active Marketplace account will have access to the following types of Applications and Components:

- Free All active Marketplace customers will be able to access and download any Applications and Components marked as free.
- Subscription-based Applications and Components built by Novacura Labs can only be purchased through a Marketplace subscription. Once subscribed, customers will have the ability to download all the Applications and Components in the subscription library. To find out if an Application is part of the subscription library, you can filter by subscription.
- Paid A limited number of Applications and Components can be purchased independently. The Applications and Components price, along with the terms and conditions will be defined by the Publisher of the Application. If the Application or Component is marked as Subscription on the Details tab of the Application or Component, a subscription to the Marketplace will be required to gain access.
- To determine whether an Application or Component is free, subscription-based or Paid, click on the Details tab and reference the pricing type or filter by pricing type
- Anyone with an active subscription can download an Application or Component, however, you must have developer rights and access to Flow Studio to import into your environment. To import, a user needs to have the Flow Studio access level of AdministerWorkflows, and if connectors need to be set up, the user may also need access to AdminsterBasicData.

Versions & Compatibility
- The compatibility details for each Application will be listed under the Details tab of that page. The Application Version value represents the Novacura Flow version(s) and ERP version(s) that the publisher has verified and tested the Application or Component for. In general, the Applications and Components listed by Novacura Labs should work in all versions newer than the minimum version listed. However, it is important to note that Applications are provided as-is and future compatibility is not guaranteed by Novacura. While we intend to maintain and update the Applications and Components published by Novacura as newer versions become available, the Applications and Components are provided as-is and compatibility is not guaranteed.
- Applications and Components on the Marketplace are provided as-is and future compatibility is not guaranteed by Novacura. However, Novacura has every intention of maintaining and updating the Applications and Components that they publish as newer versions become available. The compatibility details for each Application will be listed under the Details tab of that Application page. The Application Version value represents the Novacura Flow version(s) and ERP version(s) that the publisher has verified and tested the Application or Component for.
- Yes, Applications from the Marketplace will work on both cloud and perpetual Novacura Flow environments.
- Any Applications and Components that work with Novacura Portal will be listed as such in the Details tab of the Application page under the Clients section.
- Installation & Support
- Users with an active Marketplace subscription will be able to add an Application and/or Component to the cart. Through the checkout process, you will be prompted to agree to the terms and conditions, and once complete you will be provided with a link to download the Application.
- If you purchased an Application with the payment type Paid, the Publisher will provide you with detailed instructions on how to download the Application once purchased.
- Any Applications and Components published by Novacura will be open and all modifications are allowed. However, if a partner or customer is the publisher, the terms and conditions might vary based on the publisher’s specific terms.
- Once an Application or Component is downloaded please review the instruction manual that comes with each subscription Application. The instruction manual will provide details on how to install the Application or Component in your environment. Including, but not limited to the setup of any connectors and properties.
- If you need additional support when installing an Application developed by Novacura Labs, select the Support link in the Details tab for the Application. Fill out the form and a Novacura Representative will be in touch to discuss support options with you. *If the Support link is unavailable on the Application page, please contact your Novacura Sales Representative as a separate support agreement is needed before you can gain access.

- Yes, once an Application or Component is downloaded from the Marketplace you will have the ability to save it and modify it as you wish. You can also use multiple variations of the same or modified Application or Component at the same time.
- If you would like to use a newer version of a previously downloaded Application, you will need to download it and manually replace it in your environment. Any modifications previously made, will also need to be manually updated on the latest version.
- Each Application download comes with a detailed description of the Application and instructions on how to deploy the Application in your environment.

For any Applications downloaded with the payment type Paid, please reach out to the publisher directly for support.
- All Novacura Labs Applications and Components will be developed in English. However, Novacura does support the use of other languages, so Applications can be converted to a specific language after download.

Feedback
- Yes, you can provide feedback on any Application or Component that you have downloaded. Once logged in, you will be able to provide feedback under the Review tab for that particular Application or Component.
- We welcome the sharing of any ideas for new Applications or Components. Users can share ideas for new Applications or Components on the Marketplace Idea Wall and users within the Marketplacewill have the opportunity to vote on it. The ideas provided can be for new Applications or new features to existing Applications. The Apps and features with the highest vote count will be added into the development cycle for review and prioritization by Novacura Labs. When prioritized as an Application slotted for development, an announcement will be posted on the Marketplace and be listed as a Waitlist Application.
- Yes, Novacura will include Applications in development on the Marketplace to allow for customer feedback. To provide feedback, you must be an active Marketplace user and sign up to be added to the Application Waitlist. Once on the Application waitlist, you will be added to a queue and have the opportunity to be selected as a potential candidate to test out and provide valuable input on an Application before its official release.

Publishers and Partnerships

Yes, Novacura encourages customers and partners to share Applications that they have developed on the Marketplace. The more participation from within the Marketplace, the better. Customers will receive more value through shared experiences that help to inspire innovation and speed up the development of Novacura Flow Applications.

To publish offerings on the Marketplace, your organization needs to be a Novacura partner and agree to the terms in the Novacura Partner Agreement.
